ON THE COSTA ALMERIA
- The
province of Almeria is in the South Eastern part of Spain,
and is one of the fastest growing areas of Spain. Traditionally
the area was mainly an aricultural region, but the emphasis
is now on tourism. It contains natural parks such as Cabo
de Gata and endless stretches of beaches bathed by the Mediterranean
sea. It has therefore become an obvious choice for Spanish
holiday makers and a great region in which to buy property.
- It
is generally accepted that Almeria now is what the Costa del
Sol was like 10 years ago which of course means there are
fantastic opportunities for property investors as prices remain
relatively low but are of course set to rise as the area and
the local economy grows because of tourism. There are many
golf courses in the area including the world famous Desert
Palms, which is one of only 4 desert courses in the world.
Even more courses are planned for the future.
