ALONG THE COSTA BLANCA
- Spain's
Costa Blanca has been elected the healthiest place on Earth
to live by the World Health Organisation! Sun, sea, clean
air and healthy eating being the main reasons. More and more
people then are heading for, and buying property along, the
Costa Blanca with its wonderful Mediterranean Sea coastline
and warm sandy beaches.
- The
area incorporates Benidorm and Alicante and has two international
airports at Alicante and nearby Murcia. Other important tourist
centres of the Costa Blanca are Denia, Javea, Moraira, Calpe,
Santa Pola, Guardamar de Segura, Torrevieja and Campoamor.
Alicante, the capital of the province of the same name, is
the second most important city in the Community of Valencia.
It has two large beaches and is dominated by the great Moorish
castle of Santa Barbara.
